SB-1200

The indicator does not light though the power switch is ON.

Symptom Causes
Power plug comes out of the socket-outlet or it is not completely inserted. Turn the power switch OFF and insert the power plug into socket-outlet securely.
Power cord comes out of the inlet or it is not completely inserted. Turn the power switch OFF and insert the power cord into inlet securely.
Power is not supplied. Turn the breaker on distribution panel ON.
Thermal cutout (high limiter) is activated. Refer to Page 11 "How to Restore the Thermal Cutout" and restore the thermal cutout.
Power switch is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
Temperature controller is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
Fuse for inlet is blown (by overcurrent). Refer to Page 13 "Replacement of Fuse" and replace the fuse. If the symptom is repeated despite the replacement, check the surrounding conditions and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.

Temperature does not increase.(RUN lamp lights, HEATING lamp is off)

Symptom Causes
No temperature setting. Check the set temperature.
The set temperature is lower than liquid temperature. Check the set temperature.

The temperature increases (HEATING lamp is off)

Symptom Causes
RUN/STOP key is not pressed. Press RUN/STOP key and start the temperature control.

The temperature does not increase.(RUN lamp and HEATING lamp are off)

Symptom Causes
The set temperature is low. Set the temperature higher than room temperature +5℃or more.
Ambient temperature is high. Use at ambient temp. of 5 to 35℃.
SSR is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.

The temperature does not increase (HEATING lamp lights)

Symptom Causes
Heater is disconnected. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
SSR is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
Thermal cutout is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.

Sensor disconnection・Short Alarm [AL 1] is activated.

Symptom Causes
Sensor for temp. control is short-circuited. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
Sensor for temp. control is disconnected. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.

Beyond Measurement Temperature Alarm [AL 2] is activated.

Symptom Causes
Liquid other than water is used and the measured value exceeds the upper limit of indication range (99℃). This product is intended for water only.Use water only.
Ambient temperature is 0℃ or less. Use at ambient temperature between 5 and 35℃.
the measured value falls under the lower limit of indication range(0℃). Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.

Overload indication ("AL3" and "liquid temperature" appear by turns)

Symptom Causes
100% of heater output continued for 60 minutes. Reduce the load.
Heater is disconnected. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
SSR is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
Temperature controller is broken. Stop operation immediately and contact your local dealer or nearest Service Center.
